Jason Cole is a filmmaker and artist with roots in rural America. With a wide range of skills and knowledge, from stretching fence to non-linear editing, there&#8217;s no\u00a0job he can&#8217;t handle.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Cole holds a Ph.D. in Film and Media Studies from the University of Kansas and worked for over 10 years in higher education.\u00a0Jason\u00a0previously worked at Ogden Publications as the Manager of Video Content for seven magazine titles including Mother Earth News, Grit, Mother Earth Living and Utne Reader. In his role at Ogden he was responsible for every step of the video production process from concept development and client pitch sessions to scriptwriting, shooting, editing, graphic design and animation. Once content was complete he\u00a0coordinated with the editorial staff and marketing departments to promote the videos across print issues, websites, and mobile apps.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-56 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/jasoncole.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/family-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"family\" width=\"234\" height=\"234\" srcset=\"https:\/\/jasoncole.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/family-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/jasoncole.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/family-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/jasoncole.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/family-50x50.jpg 50w, https:\/\/jasoncole.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/family.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 234px) 100vw, 234px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\">Jason\u00a0is also available for freelance film\/video production and works on his own passion projects including documentary films, short animations, wire sculptures (\u00e0 la Alexander Calder), and his pareidolic drawings and paintings (see more on <a title=\"Tumblr\" href=\"http:\/\/sjasoncole.tumblr.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tumblr<\/a>).\u00a0He is also a 2 time USCA 9-wicket Croquet champion.
